Camp Chili / Stew
1 lb. meat venison or beef (ground or I use the chuck steak because it strings apart)
1 can kidney beans
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can whole sweet corn
1 can whole red potatoes (cut into 1/4 pcs.)
1 med. to lg. onion sliced to 1/2'' pcs.
1 med. to lg. sweet pepper
1 jalopeneo pepper chopped (optional)
salt, pepper, sugar, chili powder and garlic to taste.
Start with small amounts and add to taste later if needed.
Cooking is simple, just put it all in a pot and leave it on low heat all day. After smelling this all day you might want to rush, but trust me the longer it cooks and the lower the heat the better.
