General Setup for Windows ME

Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel.
Double click on Internet Options, set the home page to www.outdrs.net, then click Apply.
Click on Connections (tab on top).
If you can't click on setup then go to Make New Connection instructions.
Choose the bottom choice- I want to set an Internet account manually. If the bottom choice doesn't say I want to set an Internet account manually, (in most cases) choose the second choice, then the first choice on the next page. Click next.
Choose - I connect through a phone line. Click NEXT.
Type in the access number on the right side under Phone Number. If you need to use the area code to make a local call to this particular city, then type the area code along with the Phone Number all on the right side under Phone Number. Make sure you uncheck the box that says, "Dial using the area code and country code".
Type in your full email address and your password.
Type outdrs.net in the box for Connection Name.
Check the box YES for new email account.
Check the box to create a new email account.
Display name- Type in your name and capitalize the first letters of each name.
Type in your full email address.
You will type in mail.outdrs.net for both the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names.
The account name will be your full email address. Click after the last letter, which will unhighlight the first part. Type @outdrs.net. Use the same password. This is case sensitive.
Uncheck box that says "To Connect Immediately" then click on the FINISH button.
While in control panel, double-click on Dial Up Networking, right-click on outdrs.net, left-click on properties, left-click on Dialing Tab at the top, and Uncheck the bottom box that says, "Disconnect when connection may not be needed."
To connect to the service you can click on the Internet Explorer icon (big blue E) or on the Outlook Express icon (Envelope with two little arrows around it) and click on the connect button.
To disconnect from the service, right-click on the little icon in the lower right corner of the screen that looks like two little computers and select disconnect.
