Customer Support Home General Setup for Macintosh OS X


  1. Go to the APPLE in the upper left hand corner.

  2. Click on SYSTEM PREFERENCES

  3. Click on NETWORK

  4. On the TCP/IP tab, CONFIGURE should be set to "USING PPP" and everything else within TCP/IP should be BLANK. If there is anything in there, delete it out.

  5. Click the PPP tab

  6. Type in OUTDRS.NET for the service provider

    1. Type in the number you are dialing into under TELEPHONE NUMBER.

    2. Put nothing in alternate number

    3. Type in your full email address under ACCOUNT NAME

    4. Type in your password under PASSWORD (this is case sensitive!) and check the SAVE PASSWORD box.

  7. Click the PROXIES tab and make sure nothing is checked or typed in there.

  8. Click the APPLY NOW button

  9. Click SHOW ALL in the upper left hand corner of the system preferences window.

  10. Click INTERNET

  11. Click the EMAIL tab

    1. Type in your full email address under EMAIL ADDRESS

    2. Type in mail.outdrs.net under INCOMING MAIL SERVER

    3. Under account type, make sure POP is bubbled in

    4. Type in your full email address under USER ACCOUNT ID

    5. Type in your password under PASSWORD (This is case sensitive)

  12. Click the WEB tab

    1. Under Home Page, type in www.outdrs.net

    2. Under Search Pagetype in www.outdrs.net.

  13. Click on SYSTEM PREFS next to the APPLE in the upper left hand corner and click on QUIT SYSTEM PREFS
