- Go to the APPLE in the upper left hand corner.
- Click on SYSTEM PREFERENCES
- Click on NETWORK
- On the TCP/IP tab, CONFIGURE should be set to "USING PPP" and everything else within TCP/IP should be BLANK. If there is anything in there, delete it out.
- Click the PPP tab
- Type in OUTDRS.NET for the service provider
- Type in the number you are dialing into under TELEPHONE NUMBER.
- Put nothing in alternate number
- Type in your full email address under ACCOUNT NAME
- Type in your password under PASSWORD (this is case sensitive!) and check the SAVE PASSWORD box.
- Click the PROXIES tab and make sure nothing is checked or typed in there.
- Click the APPLY NOW button
- Click SHOW ALL in the upper left hand corner of the system preferences window.
- Click INTERNET
- Click the EMAIL tab
- Type in your full email address under EMAIL ADDRESS
- Type in mail.outdrs.net under INCOMING MAIL SERVER
- Under account type, make sure POP is bubbled in
- Type in your full email address under USER ACCOUNT ID
- Type in your password under PASSWORD (This is case sensitive)
- Click the WEB tab
- Under Home Page, type in www.outdrs.net
- Under Search Pagetype in www.outdrs.net.
- Click on SYSTEM PREFS next to the APPLE in the upper left hand corner and click on QUIT SYSTEM PREFS
