Run Disk Cleanup
- Click on your START button on the bottom left corner.
- Click on PROGRAMS
- Click on ACCESSORIES
- Click on SYSTEM TOOLS
- Click on DISK CLEANUP, C: DRIVE, CHECK all the boxes, then OK
- Let it run it's course. This will only take a few minutes, 15 minutes would be the extreme.
Run Disk Defragmenter
- Click on your START button on the bottom left corner.
- Click on PROGRAMS
- Click on ACCESSORIES
- Click on SYSTEM TOOLS
- Click on DISK DEFRAGMENTER, C: DRIVE, then OK
- Let it run it's course. This can take several hours if you haven't done this for a while.
Run Checkdisk
- Double-Click MY COMPUTER
- Right-Click on C: DRIVE
- Select PROPERTIES
- Select the TOOLS TAB
- Under Error-Checking click on Check Now
- Select all Checkdisk options and click START
- If you receive the following message, "The disk check could not be performed because exclusive access to the drive could not be obtained. Do you want to schedule this disk check to occur the next time you restart the computer?" Select YES and Checkdisk will be performed when you restart your computer.
Remove unused files
- Delete unwanted email
- Delete temporary files (ex. Internet files)
- Delete unwanted music/games that you may not want
- Delete unwanted applications
- Delete any unwanted documents that you might have saved
- Removing unwanted files will free up hard drive space and improve efficiency.

Modem issues
Listed below are some common modem errors. Click on the specific error to see the fix.
Things we do not support
- Any operating system other than Windows 95/98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, or MAC OS 8-10. If you use something else, (i.e.: Linux, Commodore etc.), we can supply connection information only, such as local phone number, DNS server addresses, and Mail server addresses.
- Any E-mail program other than Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, or Netscape Communicator.(example: Eudora)
- Web Browsers other than Internet Explorer or Netscape.
- Hardware Problems.
- Illegal Operation Errors, Blue Screen Errors, and Shut Down problems are Operating System Errors and we do not support these.
- Problems with a specific website.
- Personal web space. We give you the upload site and directory, but we do not help you make it work.
- Other ISP Stuff.
- Firewalls, Virus Programs, or other Proprietary software.
- Anything not directly effecting the Internet connection or E-mail.
