The Microsoft Dial Up Adapter is Not Installed or Working Properly.
  • Check the Network Control Panel. If the Dial-Up Adapter is not installed, install it.

  • If it is installed,(w95/98 make sure you have the CD) uninstall it and it's associated components and reboot. Then reinstall the Dial-Up Adapter and TCP/IP.

  • Try removing other components like VPN support, extra dialup adapters(definately these), or an AOL Dial-Up adapter.

  • If none of this works, please call Tech Support for assistance.
