THE CONFEDERACY PROJECT
AND VARIOUS HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS

dividing bar

The Time Has Come To Take A Stand This is a constitution I created by taking the Confederate States of America Constitution, Amendments of the US Constitution, 1836 and 1845 Republic of Texas Constitutions, 1861 State of Georgia Constitution, some lines from the 1947 Japanese Constitution, and combined it with my Limits on Federal Powers Amendments elsewhere on this website. I have also included various proposed amendments that I have seen through the years. I also kept the original order of the Confederate Constitution by putting additions at the end of an Article or adding a number such as "1a" and keeping all the Articles the same number and order.

Original clauses of the Constitution of the Confederate States of America are in black text, modifications to these original clauses and additions from the above listed and other sources are in red text. Some of the original clauses may have been edited for spelling and updated language. All suggestions, comments, and constructive criticism are welcome.
