It's good to see a voice of reason among the nuts and cranks on the net. I am (unfortunately) a white male and thus subject to many forms of prejudice - which seems a little ironic to me but then I'm not responsible for others opinions. Thank you for an unbiased approach.

The problem right now is that because Clinton (I won't call him president because he never deserved to be one) took many of the benifits of the military away, both in service and veteran, as I know you feel too. All the experience that our great military power has left, (to the civilian world) leaving a bunch of wet behind the ear airmen in charge. I am one of three staffs with one tech and one master in our squadron. we have a total of fourty men in our squadron. We are a highly trainied unit who most of us are Airborne and serve along the Special Forces of the U.S.Army. Therefore it is critical that we have experience. I am sad to say I would have a hard time going into battle with the troops we have now. Hopefully Bush will turn this around, and maybe bring some of that experience back from the Air National Guard to Active Duty.

I feel your pain. My Air Force service, active and reserve, extends from 1972 to 1996 and still continues today in the civil service at Tinker AFB. So I have seen bad and good times (bad under Democrats, good under Republicans). But I have never seen it as bad as it is now and if Algore the usuper steals the elction (not "win") then I think we can kiss the military goodbye and the country along with it.

I have been called alot of things, but never "paranoid". But, as the old joke goes just because you are paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get you. As for the reactionary part, is it not reactionary when you fight to keep something that someone is unlawfully trying to take away from you? Such as the right to keep and bear arms, freedom of speech, keep more of your income and personal wealth, and the right to live your own life and use your property as you see fit? The Democrats and their liberal buddies are trying to take all that away and more. You may like to be fat, dumb and happy and watch our republican form of government is being taken away from us, but not me and not my children and grandchildren.
All I am doing is fighting for a return to the Constitution as intended by our founding fathers. So far, the liberals have the upper hand because they control the schools, the press, and the government. That is not paranoid, but a fact. There is a hate law pending in Congress, if passed. would make my website illegal because I dare criticize "protected persons". You need to read an article "Who Are Really Nazis?" in my Odds and Ends section to see there is no difference between the Nazis and the liberal Democrats and that we are heading down the same road as the fat, dumb, and happy German people did. I really expect to see a second American revolution or war between the States this century. Maybe not in my lifetime, but it will come especially if Algore the usurper and the Democrats take power this election or the next.

As I read through the especially concise section on the war of northern agression, I was delighted to see your take was as pointed as it was correct. Unfortunately, today as we seek to teach our children the truth about this awful period in our history and how we all now live under the yoke of Federalist tyranny, we are shouted down as racists. Thank you by the way for the distinction you made that our proud heritage has been somewhat hijacked by racists, something we need to point out often it seems.
We are told that to even mention the Confederacy (much less to display the battle flags or monuments) is "insensitive". We are told that we should respect the feelings of people who might be offended by this and remove the symbols and re-write the history.
I am reminded of a similar event that happened just last year, we would not have heard anything of it except that the perpetrator of this "hate crime" happened to be a homosexual. The homosexual was a city councilman in San Francisco and used the word "niggardly" to describe a budget proposal - an accurate description of the budget it seems, but then I for one am all for niggardly budgets for those in political office.
Unfortunately, he was attacked for using this word, it seems that the knees of certain city-coucilmen whose reaction time is much faster than their verbal acuity, hit the table and they howled in self-righteous indignation cries of "RACISM". An indignation that is only superceded by their ignorance it seems. A quick trip to the dictionary shows that the word niggardly is in fact not a racial slur but a comment about one's generosity or lack thereof.
Yes, it seems that this is the time we live in - the truth will never be learned in the public school system, but then truth and public school are mutually exclusive aren't they?

I also used it on my site and then realized how backwards my understanding of the word was. I know David's info to be very true but so few people in America are willing to accept the depth of the left conspiracy.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I have been very careful to try to keep the differences between "Democracy" and "Republic" clear especially when it comes to the Constitution. The founding fathers feared a Democracy where basically mob rule is king. A simple example would be an island where there are five men and four women. They all sit around the meeting table one day and one man says "Lets vote that tonight the men rape all the women." Of course, the men all vote yes and the woman all vote no and the men win 5 to 4. It may not seem right nor fair to the women, but majority rules.
The founding fathers put in safeguards in the Constitution such as the sovereign States appointing Senators to act as an "ambassador" to the united States senate to couner the popularity elected house of represntatives and the electoral college to keep the people from electing a bad president. In the years since the country has leaned towards democracdy and away from a republic by amendment that allowed senators to be popularity elected and the rise of two powerful political parties that has packed the electoral college with their own people. This has lead to the abuses that come with democracy such as pandering to voters and giving them what they want by indirectly buying their vote.
It is this shift from republic to democracy that is the root of most of the problems today; high taxes, and less freedoms that we have today. I think in a couple of generations, or less we will have another Revolutionary War or War Between The States when sections of the country decide to opt out under the thumb of an oppressive central government. This may come around even sooner if Algore the usurper and the Democrats take over the presidency and the congress.
I do have two webrings, the older one is the Western Civilization And Democracy Webring that I co-founded with a classical liberal. But he has dropped out and so I manage it myself. It contains all websites that support democracy and freedom based on western civilization either left or right. I do not agree with many of the sites there, but I let them in as long as they are not outright racist hate groups or contain porn.
Real Politically Incorrect Webring is all mine and contains conservative websites that is in line with my beliefs. Of course, again, no outright racist hate groups or porn is allowed there either because conservation is inclusive of all colors, creed, and religions. If one person is denied their rights, then we all are. I invite you to sign up for either one or both.

Knowing you want to be correct (not talking politically) I would like to let you know that the correct title for The Creed is "The American's Creed" and not The American Creed. This is a mistake many make. I am well acquainted with this creed and am thrilled that you put it on your web site. It use to be recited in schools - not any more!!!

I am glad you have written me and gave me a chance to reply. If you had gotten to my CSA or Amendment pages you would of discovered that the Confederate Flag being used as a background (Actually it is the CSA Navy battle ensign) was not a symbol of hate until empty headed racists started waving it after the turn of the century. The KKK and other racists also carries the US Flag and the Christian cross, does that make those symbols of hate also? Do not forget the US Flag flew over a slave holding country before it's founding until 1866. The CSA flag only flew for four years.
What the CSA flag and cause means to me and many other persons is a symbol against an oppressive central government that seems intent on taking away our rights, personal wealth, and to destroy the Republic that our founding fathers founded. In fact, the most well know founding fathers and almost all of our first presidents were from the South. If you start to study the real history of the War Between The States (not the Civil War) you will find that only 20% of those who fought owned one or more slaves and most of the top Confederate military leadership did not own slaves.
The issue of federal power was not settled by the war. All that the war settled was that a heavily industrial North of 20 million persons could defeat a largely agricultural Southern society of 11 million. Actually, the main causes of the War Between The States was not slavery but tariffs and taxes that affected the wealth of the South more than the North. Slavery was a secondary issue put forward by a load minority and slavery was starting to fall in disfavor and was dying out in the South by the time the war started. I think the war could of been avoided except for a few hotheads on both sides, much like what started World War One.
You must read an excellent article By Walter E. Willams that explains the political side of this issue much better than I can on the CSA page. But do not listen to what I say, do the research starting with many of the fine CSA sites that I have linked to.

The only place on my site where NAMBLA is referred to is in a negative quote on my first page. Since most search engines spider the first couple hundred words or so it must of picked up as a keyword. Maybe I need to move it to another page to remove it from the search engine.
Linda Tripp or Ken Starr did not weaken the rights of all Americans, Bill Clinton did by citing every type of privilege and legal loop holes he could think of and continually lying and abusing the power of the government to hide his crimes. Actually, I think our rights are stronger because this has exposed government gone bad and the public will be more on guard. Ken Starr had to do what he did to attempt to get the truth. Would you rather not know what the president and the government is up to? Shall we shoot all the messengers? And she was not a government informer, she kept those tapes for her own protection and gave then up when other investigations showed she had them. Ken Starr did not set up a "Sting Operation" with Linda Tripp "get" the president.
I do not know if she likes big government or not, what she did was in self defense because she was urged to lie under oath and feared for her life. And the reason why so much money was "wasted" was because of the lying and stalling by the president and all his cohorts who were also willing to lie for him, take the fifth, destroy evidence, or leave the country.
I do not hate Clinton because I do not personally know him. But I hate what he has done to the office of the president and the new double standard that the rule of law does not apply to the elite and how he has perverted the justice system, the congress, and his own party. This country will be truly free when the American people finally wake up and not vote for reprobates like Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, Al Gore, or Ted Kennedy and reduce the size and scope of big government to prevent our leaders from abusing their power.
I hope you didn't get the impression that I was a bible thumper. I have a "born again" ex-alcoholic/abusive father and a "born again" cousin that preach that to me (anti-Christ stuff) all the time. I don't use the fact that I was abused so I can act anyway I want and blame it on my upbringing. What happened to taking responsibility for your actions? I was taught better. I still live in Oklahoma City about fifteen miles from the truck-bombed federal building. I felt anger and hate shake my house to it's foundations three years ago. A constant reminder is my twenty year old Korean wind up thirty day clock. It still keeps time, but has not bonged the hours since that day. It is a silent and strong reminder of what negative and uncontrolled anger and bitterness can do to a society.
The people who spread lies and hatred are the extreme, self appointed minority and NOW leaders, members of the Democrat Party that includes the White House, and the liberal national press. One of the most recent example is CNN's bogus story spreading lies and hatred about the United States Armed Forces by claiming that the military used nerve gas on deserters in Laos.
Look at the way Kenneth Starr and anybody else who dares to criticize the president and tell the truth is publicly crucified by the press and their allies. I once wanted to be a journalist, I am now glad I did not because then I would not be able to sleep at night because of all the compromises of my principles, especially truth.
To combat the current unprofessional and lying national press, a good documented source you need to read is Media Research Center. Be sure to sign up with their CyberAlert where you be e-mailed an item by item analysis of national press reporting with cited examples of facts being twisted and ignored by them. You should also subscribe to the Drudge Report.
Unlike CNN and leftist special interest groups, I attempt to cite sources and facts before writing an opinion. Could you please point out what lies you have found in my pages? I will either remove them or better document the facts. So look over those two news websites I suggested and other ones in my news links page. Please reply later after looking over my website again. I do value any feedback, negative or positive, to help improve my website and clear up misunderstandings where opinions and facts may run together and give false impressions.
